Very pretty hotel, walking distance to all the Centro Historico area and basilica. Nice roof top views. Staff was very friendly and helpful including a tour to Cotopaxi which was Excellent. Never ate there, but available. Bed was a little stiff. Stairs to bathroom were a little narrow and could be tricky at night. Street noise a little loud. Arranged a transfer from airport on arrival and confirmed days before, was not present on arrival so I grabbed a taxi.
We spent a quick two nights and Adamas was a haven in a busy place. The communication prior to arriving was excellent and they took a very late dinner reservation when we arrived as we didn’t know what we’d do for dinner at 9pm when we arrived and was warned it wasn’t safe. They had a delicious 3 course meal awaiting us. The service our entire stay was excellent. Thank you Roberto for keeping everything easy accommodating. The family room was excellent - plenty of space for the four of us and the outdoor patio was an excellent place to have a casual pizza dinner we picked up from right down the road on our second night. Our stay was seamless and the value was very good.
Staff super friendly and helpful!
The staff at Adamas House are excellent! They went above and being for us! The hotel was beautiful and the breakfast amazing! We stayed there twice it was so good!
Wonderful hotel! We had a flight delay and got in late. Roberto was happy to greet us when we arrived. The hotel is adorable and clean. We loved the rooftop terrace for city views both morning and to have a beverage at night to see the city lights. The staff was friendly ans great communication before and durning our stay.
Hotel is located in an unsafe part of the city
Wondeful stay!
Good experience, beautiful small hotel in a great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staff were kind, lovely breakfast every morning. Roof top had wonderful views of Quito. Would highly recommend to stay at Adamas!
A lovely boutique hotel
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and were amazed how lovely and clean this hotel was. It is also nicely situated in the city center, so it is quite convenient to visit some historical sites from there. It has a nice roof-top terrace with a city view. Breakfasts and dinners were very tasty. Every morning, we looked forward to having different types of fruits or juices with our breakfast. I would like to give a shout-out to Andrea, who had been most helpful with our tour and dinner arrangements. As a matter of fact, all the staff at Adamas were wonderful and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel.
Old Town Stay
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. I should have splurged for a room with a view but maybe that helped quell any street noise… we enjoyed staying in the Old Town but traffic can be off-putting. Staff super sweet and attentive.
Beatiful hotel in downtown Quito
Very nice hotel Very close to main attractions in downtown Extremely polite staff
Great boutique hotel near heart of Quito.
My stay at the hotel was great. It is a very clean, safe and beautifully decorated hotel only 10 mins walk to independence square. The staff was amazing, especially Roberto and Martin. They were both very friendly and helpful. The daily breakfasts were also delicious. The was an issue on my 1st night as there was a plumbing problem. The hotel paid for another hotel for me to stay, and paid for my airport taxi and paid for two meals to compensate me for the inconvenience. I enjoyed my stay at Adamas and would recommend this hotel very highly.
Superb!
Everything was superb. Great service! Andrea was very kind and attentive, greatly recommended!!!
Fantastic time at Adamas Hotel
Our stay was fantastic. The location is direct in historical centre. The most of the highlights of Quito can be done by foot. The room was fantastic with a sitting area, downstairs, sleeping area upstairs. The breakfast was good. And last but not least, they have an incredible staff, which is verry helpfull. My compliments to them!
Excellant stay, breakfast, cleanness and staff. Nice common area lounge. View out the window and the area around looks a bit tired, dirty
Wonderful Staff!
We had a great stay at the Adamas House! The staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with an assortment of bread, fruits and eggs. We loved our stay here and would not hesitate staying there again. Thank you for your hospitality!
Lovely "Boutique" hotel. Easy walk to Independence Plaza. Friendly staff. Beautiful roof terrace with superb view of city and surrounding mountain peaks. Great place; it's a few details that they didn't get just right (TV was not programmed and could not get a signal; in the room blinding overhead lights or total darkness, nothing in between; mattress very very hard, etc.) Still, I give it a strong rating for location, atmosphere, charm, view and staff.
Had a wonderful stay. Loved sitting on the rooftop patio looking out over Quito. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond service. A
Great attention from the staff. Very clean and helpful. First time in Quito for us so the location is ideal walking distance to the Plaza. The hotel found us a personal tour guide which is great to get to see all the sights. Reasonably priced hotel and tours. Great local restaurants and a real feel of historical Quito. Would definitely stay there again. If you need to be picked up to and from the just call the hotel. they helped us with that too.
There are many good things about staying at Adamas but one is way above the others: the service! Before even getting there, the communication was great and they helped us plan for activities for several days. We arranged the airport pickup and dropoff as well as day tours to Cotopaxi and to Mindo. It tunred out that the same wonderful driver was with us all the time. Martin was very respectful and responsible, always on time and made great suggestions, took great care of us and felt us feel very safe. Martin and all the staff at Adamas House made all the difference in our stay. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, nice central location, has great recommendation on restaurants and places to visit.
The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The room was newly refurbished, very comfortable and cleaned every day. The breakfasts were enjoyable and filling with some local foods to try. Thank you Adamas House Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay with you and would highly recommend to other visitors to Quito.
The staff is the best part about this place. All of them were fantastic. Hotel is nice. Small, definitely a boutique hotel. 4 blocks from Plaza Grande. Breakfast was good (cost extra).
A perfect place in Old Town Quito
Great spot in the historical centre of Quito a couple of blocks from the Plaza Grande. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. There was a common room with games and a roof top lounge. The staff was very friendly and helped us arrange taxis in lieu of higher priced tours. They proactively contacted us to arrange pickup from the airport and arrange a taxi for our return. The breakfasts were fruit, juices, eggs, a variety of breads and good coffee. They even made me tea and toast when I wasn’t feeling well. Highly recommend a stay at the Adamas.
Refuse to provide the promised services. Room, breakfast. An excellent boutique property. Manger English speaking understood my situation after a long discussion provided the accommodation . But wanted to go back to decline other services.
My stay was good here. The people working were very nice and helpful. Particularly, Santiago. The place is nice and clean. I was a little cold at night though, so I had to layer up.
Old town stay Quito
The hotel was very nice - we were given an upgrade upon arrival to a duplex room. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The bathroom was nice but needed to wait for the hot water in the shower - after about 5 min it was hot. The breakfast was good and the staff very accommodating. It is a nice place to stay in the old town of Quito.
We enjoyed the Adamas Hotel very much super staff and great rooms. Our daughter joined us everyone so helpful. Thanks to Santiago, Martin, and everyone. Cheers
Exellent service
Great Service
This was a truly wonderful place to stay and I'd highly recommend it. We felt well taken care of and very comfortable here. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with comfortable, clean rooms and a delicious breakfast. There is also a beautiful terrace with views of Quito and lots of comfortable space to lounge throughout the hotel. The staff was very attentive and welcoming.
Excelente
Nice facilities, excellent service, convenient location in the Historic Center of Quito.
The service was excellent and the breakfast was amazing. Breakfast included a choice of fresh fruit juices, fruits, coffee, unique breads, cheese and a local item. Everyone at the hotel was so hospitable. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Quito.
Great location. Very clean hotel and staff was nice and helpful.
Excellent location and staff
The hotel was very lovely and clean. The staff were outstanding Paul, Nexi and Giovanni were exceptional! They shared delicious local food with us at breakfast as well as excellent information on the area. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning on staying in Old Town Quito!
Lovely staff, especially Giovanni who was very attentive and kind. Super professional and nice place to stay with a pretty good breakfast prepared fresh each day.
Spectacular Stay
The hotel was immaculate! Very clean, spacious, well supplied, and service was wonderful. The staff is very conscientious of your needs and willing to make your stay perfect. The breakfast was delicious too. Would most definitely stay again.
The owner and staff are dishonest! My husband and I booked a two night stay in the Luxury Suite. We booked via Orbitz. On check-in, Giovanni led us to the room, which was clearly not the Luxury Suite (I later learned that it was the Deluxe Double). I asked him about it, and at first, he tried to tell us that it was the same as the Luxury Suite, which was clearly a lie since the Luxury Suite was a spacious two level apartment and the room he put us in was a much smaller one level room. Giovanni then admitted that he gave away our room. He said that the people who booked the room the night before had asked to stay another night. And instead of telling them that the room had already been booked, he let them stay there. I asked for a refund for the difference between the rooms (the difference was significant), and he said he'd have to ask the owner, Gabriela, and see. What they ended up offering us was about half of the correct amount, and they refused to budge. They did not rectify the situation, which is just awful management. In conclusion, don't stay here unless you like being lied to and cheated.
Great location, room and service
Hotel Adamas has a great location in Quito old town. The hotel itself feels very clean and new but also has a nice character with the internal courtyard and flower wall. The room we had was a very good size and bed was big and very comfortable. Finally, the staff were very friendly and always helpful if we had any questions or wanted anything.
I loved my stay at the hotel. I ended up coming back to this hotel for the second half of my trip. The staff was very helpful and great! The place was very clean and cute. The rooms were comfortable. My favorite part were the fresh flowers and chocolate in each room. They also have fresh flowers throughout the hotel. The location is close to major attractions and the building felt safe and secure. The breakfast was so good! When I come back to Quito, this is where I will be staying.
The staff, especially Giovanni and Adriana (?), were super welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was quite a feast. There are lots of stairs, which for me was great exercise, but they might be too challenging for other mature travelers.
I had a wonderful 2-day stay at Adamas House Hotel. Loved the decor and ambiance overall. Excellent breakfast. I had a peaceful and helpful massage by a wonderful therapist who came to the hotel. Also, Giovani and Gabby made sure I had a taxi reserved for my arrival at the airport, a ride 20 minutes away to get a required COVID test, and my ride back to the airport. Luis was a very safe and friendly driver. Highly highly recommended!
Nice hotel in great location
This hotel is in historic district of Quito and is very close to the main attractions (except the middle of the world). Rooms was comfortable and clean. Staff are very friendly. I broke my foot a couple of weeks before the trip and they let us change our room to the one in the main floor which was bigger at no extra costs. Also since our room was not booked for our check out day, they let us leave our luggages in the room and pick them up later. I highly recommend this hotel
Great property and management. We really enjoyed our stay , the rooms is modern , clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great and the service was outstanding.
It’s a cute boutique hotel with nice towels, bed spread sheets. It was very clean. The service was fantastic. It would be nice to have more food options in the restaurant. I really liked the hotel. Great location as well
Great location, comfortable rooms, excellent service.
The property is wonderfully renovated and the service from Jimmy is outstanding.
If I could give this place a hundred platinum stars I would!! If you are looking for a clean, beautiful, and centrally located boutique hotel (maybe 5 rooms total), with fabulous staff, THIS IS IT! Newly renovated 16th century outer walls, pristine inside, lovely upper deck with fantastic view, you cannot get much better than Adamas hotel. Jimmy is the best concierge hands down and goes out of his way to treat you to a comfortable stay. It is not a $30 hotel however it is worth the price. Breakfast is included which is better than any hotel in the area that I researched. And they airport transport is phenomenal. The easiest travel we have ever had in any country and we travel a lot. I cannot say enough about this stay!! Fabuloso!!! Muchos gracias!!!
We were very fortunate to find this hotel on our recent trip to Quito. It is a gem: wonderful people (staff, particularly Lorena, and owners), lovely rooms and common spaces, great breakfasts. We were welcomed and taken care of for the 4 nights we stayed there (only planned to stay one originally but extended our stay by 3 more nights). The location is perfect for exploring the historical centre. Attention to detail made us feel special - hot water bottles, robes, fresh roses, chocolates, lovely local artwork on the walls, etc. all give this boutique hotel a unique feel. We would return anytime and highly recommend it to our friends, family, and anyone looking to stay in Quito. We wish them every success as the place is worthy of it.
El Hotel me pareció bellísimo y esta un una excelente ubicación para conocer el centro histórico de Quito.
Amazing tranquil place to stay
