Would rate higher if it was not under renovation. The program resulted water supply suspension from 9:00 to 16:00 one day during our stay. Overall, a good place to stay😀

On arrival had to deal with quirky room door which would not close securely. Took staff a couple of hours to show up & tell us we needed to "card" the door shut on exit (& that dead bolt did not work). Mini-kitchen very useful for travelers. WiFi OK not super fast. Good AC in room (room was 24C on arrival even though it was early October but system handled this well.

I would recommend this place to friends and relatives, and I will definitely come back to stay if I do come to Lyon

A lovely home away from home

Comfortable, clean, and homey stay - the staff there really helped to make this place a gome away from home for me while I was staying for a week :) The room itself was well-equipped with a kitchenette including a fridge, and I came back from exploring the city or seeing the games every day to see that housekeeping had left my room spotless every time. The location was very convenient: Close to 2 major tram lines and not too far away from 2 major metro lines as well as multiple amazing restaurants. A great place to stay for a while!

Convenient location short walk to metro line. Basic rooms, poorly lit, very dusty and manuscripts marks on walls and furniture. If the price is low then this is a good budget option.

Pretty good. Good area of Lyon for bars and younger people. Car parking on street available for not much money on nearby streets. Studio was very large, clean and good value. Both staff we met were friendly.

Excellent location in the heart of Lyon

I stayed one week in Comfort Suites Lyon Centre. The location is perfect, many restaurants, grocery stores, wine stores at a short distance. The room was very clean, had a kitchenette and was fairly big, the bathroom a decent size. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a working desk. Breakfast was available, but I did not go. Parking was fairly priced, but you need a PhD in parking to get in or out without a scratch. The biggest issue for me was the internet connection. With the security on the business laptop I could not connect to the WiFi, not once. Overall, I totally recommend this hotel.

Great value and nice room appointments

Extremely high value by virtue of having a mini kitchenette (tucked cleverly in a cabinet), mini fridge, but even without these the room price was great for being so close to Lyon's downtown. Large room and well sized bathroom complete it. My only issue was the smell of humidity (and possibly mold) was very present in my room at times and worse in the bathroom. I'm not sure what's causing it and hopefully they can address it. Everything else was pretty good, again because it cost so little. Granted this was in October so perhaps off season. The elevator can be slow by the way as there's only one so you may sometimes just choose to take the stairs if you're able-bodied.

Excellent Moderately Priced Hotel in Lyon

Comfort Suites Rive Gauche Lyon proved to be an excellent, moderately priced hotel in Lyon. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and it included a small, well-furnished kitchenette. The wifi worked well, and we used the moderately priced underground car park. We didn't take the pricey breakfast. Its only drawback is it's location, which is a bit far (30 minutes by foot) from both the downtown and old town areas.

Bedsheet had a couple hairs, didn't seem washed - very bad experience. Location was close to high way with lots of eateries nearby, which was the reason we chose; but we regretted the decision very much..

So much to see in Lyon, we wished we had longer. Excellent position close to river and trams, easy walking distance to main town. Wonderful bakery and shops nearby.

Very good area for dining and in easy walking distance to sights. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was really good. The room was a little claustrophobic, because it was very dark, but the beds were good.

Thé property was clean, suited our needs and was comfortable. We would have preferred some comfortable chairs in the room since forced to sit on the bed. It was a little further away than I was expecting.

Good accommodation in Lyon city

The location was great, it was central enough to walk everywhere but not too noisy at night. I appreciated the daily room service. The baby bed has a slight default and the bathroom has a slight unpleasant smell, but those little flaws hardly affected our overall comfort. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made us feel right at home.

Brilliant place to stay in Lyon

Brilliant place to stay with very friendly staff. All felons are studio/duplex so perfect for stay with family. Only 5 mins from Tram stop and less than 10 mins from metro shop. The area is next to the river and surrounded by cafes, grocery and restaurant. Couldn’t have asked for more. At reception the guy Ahmed was very helpful and same were other staff at the hotel. Most tourists places were 15-20 mins walk from hotel.

Enjoyable stay in Lyon when visiting my son's new student appartment. Great service from reception team, and excellent breakfast requested at the last minute. Excellent amenities including private parking ( payable ), and many interesting places to takea coffee or to eat. Will definately be back when we visit our son during the year !

Service was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Air conditioning issue on our last night which could not be checked till the next day. 2 fans brought to our room for comfort that night. The frustrating issue was the Wifi, needed to connect each time you opened your phone

The hotel was Undergoing a major elevation but it really wasn’t a problem. The only thing was that my room wasn’t completely finished but it wasn’t something that changed our stay. The rooms were very clean but very small but it was fine for two of us. The front desk was extremely helpful and I couldn’t figure out the air conditioning and they were very friendly. The only bad thing was that the Wi-Fi was very spotty in our room.

The location was wonderful, walking distance to so many things. I was only a couple of blocks from the embarking of the river cruise I was taking after spending two nights in Lyon. It is a basic hotel, the staff are very accommodating and wish to help you the best they can. It was perfect for my needs, a clean place to sleep, keep my luggage and within easy access of touring Lyon. Thank you to the staff at Comfort Suites.

Nice and quite .close to public transport and train. Water dront

The room we were assigned to was very cold, and neither the room radiator nor the towel radiator were working. Additionally our room was adjacent to an outside door that was left open during the day, allowing cold air to penetrate the room. After a very cold first night, even with a portable heater given to us, I was told that the heating problem had been reported and that someone would be on site within the hour to fix it. When we returned 8 hours later nothing had been done and our room was still very cold. I asked to be moved to another room, but after spending about 20 minutes going to various rooms the desk clerk said that none of the heaters were working, it was a whole hotel problem (I did notice that the radiator in the reception area seemed to be giving off heat though), so it would be pointless to move us to another room. Instead she gave us another blanket, which with the use of coat hangers we managed to cover the window to reduce the amount of cold air entering the room. It remained there for the remaining 3 nights of our stay. In addition I informed the desk clerk that the bathroom sink did not drain properly, that it needed to be cleaned, but this was not done during our stay. Also the kitchen sink faucet is loose and when you turn the tap on the whole assembly moves, so you need to use two hands, one to hold the faucet still and the other to turn the water on. Upon leaving the staff called us a taxi, but got a van which needlessly cost us extra euros.

Great location, room and staff

Booked this last minute so didn't have time to look in to it too much but glad we did. We were met by a super friendly and helpful guy at reception. He couldn't do enough to help us. The room was super spacious and clean. the kids loved the upstairs bedroom! Location was really good as well. Highly recommended.

This is an easy hotel to get to. The tramway is within a 10 minute walk to and from the hotel. The rooms are basic, comfortable and clean. There are several restaurants and stores within a short walk from the hotel.

Comfortable hotel, good location.

Comfortable reasonably priced hotel in a good location. Only 10-15 mins walk to vieux Lyon. They have paid parking fof 12e or free street parking is available from 9pm to 9am. Breakfast is extra but we chose to go to the patisserie opposite the hotel. some restaurants are located nearby which is convenient. A tram that takes you to Perrache train station is 2 mins walk away. Overall recommended for a short stay.

Just what you need

The hotel had everything we needed for a two night stay. It is located a short walk from public transport and several cafes, shops and restaurants. We arrived early for check in, and our room was not ready yet, however the lovely staff offered to store our bags allowing us to explore the city without carrying our bags. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

Decent hotel close to the University

Stayed alone for a conference at the University Lyon II. Extremely close to the University, which is the key reason why I chose this hotel. The room condition and amenity are not fancy but decent enough for a business stay (maybe not the best for family travel). The only complaint about the room is the shower booth being too small (which is somehow typical for European standard but still inconvenient). The staffs were friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again when I visit the University alone again.

The breakfast, as it were, was terrible. For 19 or 20 euros you get your choice of four different kinds of cereal and four different kinds of yogurt. Coffee was sporadic. McDonalds is not that far away.

Our family of 4 reserved the 2 story family duplex for 2 nights in Lyon. I specifically wanted a hotel with air conditioning because it was a hot weekend. Unfortunately, the a/c only cools down the entry floor of the room that had one twin bed. Since heat rises the upstairs loft with the king and the other twin bed was upstairs was extremely hot and uncomfortable to the point of not being able to sleep well at all. The front desk didn't really care about the problem and they didn't have a fan…so we were not happy customers. It's also a problem that the bathroom is on the entry level, so you have to navigate stairs in night if you have to go to the bathroom. The pillows were uncomfortable and there were no side tables or a reading lamp next to the bed downstairs for reading. The location is also a 30 min walk from the Old Town Lyon, so not a convenient location. We wouldn't stay again...

I stayed here for a week while attending a conference at Lyon 2. The hotel was perfectly located (just a short walk to the river and various amenities). Convenient, clean, and perfect for my needs. Can't complain!

Nice room with kitchenette and balcony. However, the aircon was making very loud noise and there was no way I could turn it off. Very strange aircon system. Can't speak for all staff but the lady who checked me in should definitely put some effort into smiling to customers.

Week in Lyon

We met up with friends in Lyon and wanted a hotel in the centre. This was great, location wise. Five minutes from the river and ten minutes from the centre. The city exceeded our expectations. Great architecture and atmosphere. The hotel had the advantage of providing basic cooking facilities which came in very handy. Friendly staff, a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was good. The location is convenient and close to the tram and bus stop stations. You can walk downtown in probably 25 minutes. Other than that the area is quiet.

Basic, inexpensive hotel

If you are looking for a reasonably priced, handy hotel in Lyon, and you are prepared to make some compromises, you could consider this one. The rooms are a good size, but the lighting is terrible. There is parking more or less on site, but it is a tight squeeze for anything bigger than a Fiat 500. Wifi is available but the login process seems to change with the wind. Situated in the university area you can walk to almost anywhere of interest from here, in fact this is probably its best point. Public transport is just a block away with a direct tram line to the Part Dieu shopping centre. Our stay was perhaps unfortunately tainted by the discovery upon arrival that there was no functioning lift, and no indication of when it might be fixed. With a month's worth of luggage and a 75 year-old in tow, being given a room on the seventh floor was a deal-breaker, and we had to be assertive with the staff in order to receive a room on the first floor. In the end we slept well and spent a minimal amount of time actually in the hotel.

Comfort Suites best location for river cruise

Young lady at reception was very helpful & even lent me an umbrella. Also provided quiet courtyard room as requested. 2 blocks from river to catch up cruise & 1/2 hr walk to Old Lyon. Short walk to tramway to train station & Rhone Express to airport. Grocery store across Street & cafe, restaurants, pastry shop next door. University neighbourhood & safe to walk at night. Very convenient & price was right! Would definitely go back. Very clean,a safe & kitchenette in the room made our stay even more pleasant. Thank you to all the staff for doing a great job & especially the young lady @ reception on June 2/16 when we arrived in the morning. She knows who she is & am sorry I forgot your name. Keep up the good work!

簡潔な部屋ですが、必要十分です。朝食は非常に質素なものですが、まあ足りています。オレンジジュースが2日ともただの水しか出なかったのが残念でした。 駐車場の入り口は非常に分かりにくく、いきなり狭く急な傾斜で、小型車でないと無理です。地下駐車場の中も非常に狭く斜めになっていて、かなり上級者向けです。

J'ai passé un très bon séjour. La chambre et de taille parfaite et bien équipée. Le personnel est très gentil et réponds à toutes les demandes. Seul léger bémol le quartier "peu sûr" pour une personne seule. Mais sinon très bon hôtel !

Adajio ホテルに宿泊するのは2度目ですが、キッチン付きなのとお部屋が広めの所が気に入ってます。こちらのロケーションは大学が近くにあるので、cafeや飲食店そしてスーパーも近くにあるのでとても便利でした。朝食のクロワッサンやペストリーもとても美味しくて毎朝の楽しみでした。トラムからも歩いて直ぐのロケーションですし、お値段も安くてとても良い滞在になりました。

Très bonne emplacement pour visite de Lyon - vieux Lyon , croix rousse et Part Dieu- et des balades le long du Rhône Quel dommage que l'écran de l'ordinateur à l'accueil nous empêche de voir la personne qui est à l'accueil ... par conséquent quand on entre dans l'hôtel on a l'impression d'arriver dans un lieu sans personne. É um apart hotel. Simples, com funcionários simpáticos e prestativos , com um bom café da manhã. Perto da linha do tram e de uma das estações de trem. Para o metro é necessário andar uns 15 minutos no entanto a região é segura, próxima do rio sendo uma caminhada agradável. A fachada do prédio foi a única dificuldade , a placa de identificação é muito pequena

Ar condicionado fraco.

Fiquei no quarto duplex e apesar do bom tamanho do quarto, o ar condicionado era fraco para refrescar todo o ambiente. No andar de baixo do quarto ficava ok a temperatura. Porém que dormiu na parte de cima passou muito calor, o ar condicionado não foi capaz de refrescar a parte de cima do quarto.
