Great Hotel with a few minor hiccups

This was an excellent location, close to the airport and a mall. The people are great and staff are super friendly, they tried their best to make sure things were good but, at times feel short with minor stuff (ice, and slow with other requests). The air in my room and some parts of the hotel was poor and should be a lot stronger in terms of coolness.

We enjoyed our stay with Marriott Accra Ghana. The staff made our experience unforgettable. The staff took an ordinary experience to extraordinary. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, malls and restaurants. Getting around with uber or bolt was very easy. There is also a tour service at the hotel which we also used and recommend. This hotel was everything you would expect from Marriott. Clean, with good food and drink options at the restaurant and bar. Nice pool and outdoor seating. Cool, clean and quiet. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you are having an enjoyable stay and they are eager to help with things to do, places to visit and options to accomplish all of it. My wife and I had a wonderful time and Marriott Accra is very lucky to have such a wonderful staff!

Great hotel!

Good hotel in airport area

Staff was very helpful. Service in restaurant and lounge was very slow as if they did not want to sell anything. Otherwise a very nice hotel

The hotel and surroundings property was beautiful and well maintained. However, there was a partially developed lot directly in front of the hotel, that I unfortunately had a direct view of from my room, and it was quite unsightly.

Amazing Hotel

It was an amazing hotel with amazing staff. Very close to the airport. Easy Bolt or Taxi ride to and from. The pool was clean and refreshing. Bar staff was top notch with pool service upon request.

Friendly Staff

My team and I stayed at the Marriott for just over a week. We greatly appreciate the entire staff. From the Cheif Ms. Patricia who was friendly and accommodated our daily dietary needs, to the transportation Staff specifically Godfred who was kind, helpful and ensured we got to work on time each day. The warm welcome really made a difference as well as others friendly staff such as Abigail who helped to seat us together as a large team during meals. Thank you for your hospitality. I will surely return.

Close to airport

Very decent property. The location is not great. You can't go walk about at all.

Worst hotel in Ghana

Can easily say one of my worst stays in 23+ years of traveling around the world. Service is one of the worst in any hotel, Rooms are small, food quality is terrible. They are just misusing the Marriot name and airport location to charge $400 / night. I won’t even rate it as a 3 star hotel. Had always stayed at Kempinski or Movenpick in Accra on my numerous trips and will happily return to one of those two. This property is a write-off for me.

It was a really enjoyable experience at the Marriott Hotel in Accra, Ghana. The service was great, the food was ok and the facility was nice.

As usual, just like coming home. It was very nice to go back to Marriott Accra. Staffs are very nice and really try to help! Outside private taxi drivers are vulture; so, watch out. One thing I would like to request is when I asked the door person to get me a taxi, he said they couldn’t. ‘Go outside the hotel’ really did not help. I hope they would be courteous like others to call me a taxi.

Clean and friendly hotel. Serve you with a smile. Vegetarian food options however are a bit of a let down

The overall environment was clean, facilities were in good condition and staff were courteous. The breakfast buffet had lots of variety and strongly recommended.

Facility was very nice and convenient to airport. However really nothing to do in immediate area. They need a ace closer to ocean!

The property has a warm and inviting nature. Staff is extremely pleasant and courteous. I'm thrilled to have spent my time at the Marriott. I hope to return soon. A big thank you to Isaac and Sarah (cleaning crew).

Hotel is average. You can get better value for your money. My room was moldy, but I was too lazy to repack and move. Service is unpredictable. They lost my laundry for three days. Food is average. Location is good next to airport. Likely will try other hotel next time.

Convenient, calm, clean, nicely appointed.

Stayed a couple of nights, front desk staff were excellent. comfortable, very nice room arrangement (king bed), excellent and efficient for working. It was a really clean, calm place to stay, thank you!

The property was great and the rooms were nice. The servers in the restaurants ignore you, very frustrating when you want to eat!

The restaurant was beautiful! The bathroom though was nasty! Sad how a Marriott bathroom in Accra could look this terrible seeing how Marriott hotels around the world are beautiful!

Lovely hotel for business stay

Little bit of luxury

Fantastic piece of luxury in the hustle and bustle of Accra but to be honest, too expensive compared to what else is around the immediate vicinity.

Great stay

It was not bad at all. It was clean, a little dark to be honest. Breakfast was ok. I loved closeness to mall (you can walk). Staff are friendly and helpful

The greatest place to stay every thing was sir er. The view the room the food just an overall great place to live in

The service in the public lounge and bar is extremely slow. For the rest, Check in and out and business center, was very good.

The staff was awesome, very helpful. Good security, and unbelievable food. They can help with most anything you need to get done. Best buffet in Africa. Great airport pickup experience. Everything perfect except for air conditioning problems last day. Blessing to be here, will return.

Feb business

Booked a room with large bed and swimmingpool view and get a double bed with road view!!! Not great and not normal for a mariott property costung 300$ + a night !

A memorable stay.

My stay was relaxing and fantastic, though very short but I enjoyed every moment spent within the hotel. The cool breeze by the pool side every evening is a memorable one too, also the varieties of food available and displayed at the buffets was so appetizing. A wonderful city everyone should visit.

The service was exceptional. Very friendly staff from Freda in the bar to the hotel security to life guards to from desk EVERYONE was very helpful. For this reason alone I would stay again when in Accra but it is also 10 minutes for the airport and they have an hourly free shuttle.

Cleanliness, it lived up to its billing as its brand. Staff need to be more responsive though when requests are made.
