Pretty but pricey parking
The hotel is pretty however i did not anticipate having to pay $50 a night for parking and the bathroom is an open concept so zero privacy. Only thing you get is a sliding door for the toilet but the shower can be seen by anyone in the room unless you are on the bed staring directly ahead. Was fine for my husband and I but someone coming with a friend may not appreciate have zero chance for privacy.
Good hotel, close to campus
Had a good stay, that was really conveniently located to campus. The bar and restaurant downstairs are great, but checking in is a little confusing for the AC side of the hotel (compared to the Otis) since the lobby is on the second floor, and there is no bellman to help with luggage from the valet.
Great service all around , from the front desk to the valet drivers!
Good Location
The service was excellent and the room comfortable. Seems to have been a little more pricey than some of the other hotels but most likely due to location, which is why we chose it. The location was great for the venue we were visiting. The restaurant on site was decent but really pricey as were the drinks.
Nice Hotel. Well located. Clean, modern, new.
Very good Hotel
Great stay- good location and loved Austin!
Everything about our stay was fantastic! Staff was so kind to give us little treat bags. We loved the hot chocolate and cookies, too! Top notch in everything!
Staff was amazing
Loved it!!
A Facilities and services
Too Hot to Sleep
The room was way too hot to sleep comfortably. We could not get it to come on when we needed it. It was not a good nights sleep at all. The thermostat said 65 but that was an out right lie. It was more line 75/77 in that room. The air would kick on once an hour maybe 45 min so your constantly taking covers off putting covers on. Just too terribly hot in our room.
Austin Stay
Wonderful stay. Parking is expensive ($50). Construction in area causes delays. The only is lighting above sink is wrong making putting on makeup a challenge. This is a more open concept. A curtain between shower and bathroom would be nice. Great rooftop bar at adjoining hotel! Very close to arena and UT.
Wonderful day!
Great hotel!
We had a great time! Room was clean and comfortable coming back! Very spacious and tons of places to get ready in the morning. Front staff was great and very informative, they answered all our questions!
Easy and convenient to UT
Very clean and very nice Staff.
This was an all around clean, quiet and very pleasant place to stay. It will be my go to whenever I’m in Austin.
Room with modern bathroom (shower with glassdoor) and beautiful view of UT Campus
This is my last time staying here. While the location is great, I can’t justify the nightly rate for such an average room. Every 20 minutes I hear a slamming sound like a cabinet door is being shut, housekeeping skipped us in the morning. Oh well, plenty of other options
Is very near to the university
Super friendly staff and professional.
good
healthier breakfast
Great place to stay near the university!
This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Austin. Very nice, modern, clean and comfortable room. I'd like to express my special thanks to Makayla at the front desk - her service was outstanding. She helped me navigate through the booking website to complete my reservation and made it look effortless. She cleared the confusion between the two hotels which are located next to each other. Her warm, friendly manner and efficiency made check-in a breeze. Makayla's exceptional service set a great tone for my stay.
Great! As always
Wonderful atmosphere for family gatherings
Property was quiet with a good local for dining. Beautiful bar & areas for seating while meeting with family. Loved the piped in music in the lobby. Complimentary water was a big plus
Very small rooms and bathrooms with see through doors. Super awkward when you are sharing the room with someone else.
everything about this property was amazing. from the staff, to the amenities, to what the room provided. i absolutely love this hotel and will book every single time im in the area
Good hotel in a safe location. The rooms are clean. The fitness center is excellent. The downsides - you have to change two elevators to reach your room which can be time consuming.
Excellent rooms and breakfast
If you are running errands in downtown maybe it is worthy but it is more expensive than any other hotel that might be 10 minutes away from downtown (driving) you have to pay extra for parking there ($50-$60 per day) and they did not help me at all with my suitcases or anything and I am pregnant so I did not think it was worth the price
Extremely clean
Really nice service
Great service even at a late night check in
I didn’t appreciate the Parking fee.
Convenient Location
Everything was great. I was asked upon checking in if I had a vehicle. I didn’t. I was still charged for valet. Had to have this amended.
Very clean.
Hotel was nice but for the price and lack of accommodations, I’d stay elsewhere. The room didn’t even have a fridge or microwave. I’ve stayed in hotels for less that had that plus breakfast. The restroom door was so loud since it was a sliding door and almost impossible to open and close without feeling like the door was going to come off the hinges. Wouldn’t stay here again.
Fine for one night. Our room was located on the back side of the hotel. Apparently it’s garbage pickup day the wee hours on Friday. Very noisy. Going to take a nap now…
The valet parking don’t take my car
Great stay
Property a long walk to the city center and most of the businesses around the hotel are in poor condition.
The hotel was well kept and very nice! Staff was hospitable. My room was as expected and I had a great stay. Would book again!
Clean room.
Nice Room. Clean. No breakfast except at the high end restaurant next door.
Everything was perfect
Excellent customer service and cleanliness
Great staff. Comfy beds and sheets.
The services part of the property needs a touch more professionalism.
Amazing.
I enjoyed my stay very much. Tyler was especially helpful.
Nice hotel
Fine if room was just a bit larger than a cruise ship cabin
Satisfied
Great front desk staff
I want to say thank you to the front desk staff who were consistently helpful and friendly - even in the middle of the night. Great staff, well trained, and always ready to help.
The property was great especially with the access to the Otis. The fragrance in the air was a bit aggressive and masculine. There was construction outside and the trash trucks came at 4:30 every morning which was rough. But the staff was incredible!
Modern good hotel, parking a bit pricey but it is all round Austin
Not having a refrigerator or microwave was very inconvenient and I guess the refrigerator is on a very limit availability but one can request one and on a first request first serve basis. $50 a night for parking is also extremely high along with if you want to use the pool you need to pay $20 for the day. On an already higher nightly price compared to other hotels in the area. Staff was. Friendly and location was the best part. I will not stay here again
Lots of construction going on around property (which of course the hotel can't do anything about). Housekeepers are not very good at stocking coffee, coffee cups, creamer, etc.
.
Location is very convenient, walking distances to West Campus, restaurants and bus stops. Enjoyed staying here when visiting my LHD. Would like to stay here in the future when I come and visit.
The AC Marriott was a great place to stay while visiting UT-Austin. It was clean, convenient, the staff was helpful--definitely recommend.
Lovely stay. Very hospitable
Wonderful staff and lovely room.
The room was very nice; however, the beds were very uncomfortable. My sons and I didn’t get any sleep. In addition, the room was hot. So that didn’t help the situation. I’m very disappointed, as the cost of this room was expensive and wanted to my boys to have a great and comfortable experience.
Very good location
All staff was very courteous and professional. Restaurant and bar was excellent and had a very cool look. Great views too!
Easy access from the freeway, clean and quiet
Very clean friendly staff good parking
If you need accessibility this is not the place
I requested a roll in shower for my elderly mother. I paid extra for an ascessable room. Despite that being an offer on the website they don’t actually have any.
I really had a smooth stay here. Staff was nice, amenities were clean and overall no issues.
Love it
Easy, clean, comfortable, great location to UT
Pela at front desk was lovely.
24/7 front desk and keycard to use the elevator
beautiful hotel amazing staff
Clean and great location
Great stay
Great hotel great location but NO pool. We went to Barton springs pool and it was great
The hotel was very comfortable. The only problem is the parking. Whether you pay for self or VIP, if there’s no more parking, you’re out of luck. Which is not okay. Additionally, my first day of arrival, a man took a picture of my license plates within the parking. I reported it to the Front Desk which they non chalantly confirmed it was odd and they didn’t know why that would happen. I’m a female, and always look around. Thankfully my brother was with me and my mom. Please be careful.
Enjoyed the stay :) clean and friendly
I like the bilding
Loved how close it was to university of Texas
The property was nice. You have to take elevators constantly to get around it, so that was a bit confusing. Finding it was tricky too, with all the road construction going on. Only truly bad thing was the restaurants/bars at the property. Website info on these is unreliable. One doesn’t even have food anymore even though the on-screen info in the room and the hotels website says it does. Overall, good location and decent hotel. Expected a bit more for the rate though.
Pretty, but small. Odd shower situation.
Pretty hotel with convenient walking distance from the university, but the rooms are on the small side. And just be aware that only the potty on behind a door. The shower space is open to the room and not private. The glass of the shower is heavily frosted, so you can see through it, but getting in and out of the shower you are exposed to the rest of the room and the people in it. For many this may be an issue, depending on how you feel about that.
Good hotel. Wish it had a fridge in the room- king room- but does not change the fact that it was a great stay.
Beautiful, clean, walkable area, great bar within the hotel. Lots of food options within walking diatance.
Awesome Service!
Elie was amazing! We were quite early but he was able to check us in. It was my birthday so he upgraded us and gave us some drink/appetizer coupons. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Kevin and the staff were super friendly. The hotel atmosphere was clean.
Loved it
Overall, the state was A1
The property was beautiful on the inside. Having to change elevators within the hotel since it's 2 hotels in one (don't know how to explain it) was kind of confusing. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
Construction made the road u safe
friendly staff, clean rooms, easy in and out parking.
It was a pleasant view
Nice and updated hotel. Clean and modern rooms. Good breakfast
