Cozy on the water

We stayed for a long weekend. It was great to be right on the wharf! The food around us was great! Room was clean and easy to access. There was breakfast included at a local cafe which was scrumptious.

Nice location

The location is wonderful and interesting however the furniture and home need updating to justify the cost. Plug in bathtub leaks and too much owner junk in the closet. The owner was rude in her explanation so maybe its time to shut it down and retire.

Quiet Houseboat Bed and Brekkie

Communication from the host was outstanding. The room was clean and cozy. No tv in the room, but we really didn’t care. It was a surprise for my family and they loved it. Perfect if you want a quiet affordable getaway. Walking distance to inner harbor. Breakfast was included and provided by a family owned cafe called Imagine. Your choice of fruit and yogurt or a breakfast sandwich on banock bread… it was called Imagine Cafe and they make an awesome wood fired pizza.

We stayed for two nights in this quiet, small community. The breakfast provided by Imagine was excellent. However, it would be more convenient if each room had its own kettle and hair dryer, so we wouldn’t have to return them to the outside area after every use, but we appreciate the effort and hope our feedback can help improve the experience for future guests.

Great location! Very unique accommodation. Enjoyed sitting on our private deck just above the water. The bed was very comfortable.

Unique stay

Was very peaceful being on the water, wharf is quiet at night. Enjoyed our stay. Unique experience.

The room was to come With breakfast but the restaurant was closed. Host was going to provide a breakfast instead but it was not received.

Loved the idea of sleeping on the water. Property was relatively quiet considering the owner lives above and a second unit right next door. Shared air blower/kettle not ideal as wasn't available when needed. There was no tv (which is good and bad) but be aware. Loved our included breakfast at Imagine Cafe. Room was smaller but very clean and sufficient.

Weather conditions prevented us from traveling to Victoria earlier today. We phoned the property and asked for a refund or a credit. They refused.

This property and the area are so unique and it was a lovely experience to sleep in a home on the water! Carene was lovely and so helpful. We also loved the breakfast and the staff at Imagine Cafe! I feel like this is a “must experience” at least once in your life kinda thing!

Definitely a unique stay in the Fisherman's Wharf. The room was clean and we enjoyed the balcony to have our morning coffee. The host was very pleasant.

Fun experience- check in was easy and everything was nicely explained during our walk through. Directions and info on parking was most appreciated. Lovely place! The only issue was trying to reply to the host via Expedia on our arrival time, and the host never received it. Being out of the country made it too difficult to call.

Never stayed in a float house before and it was a fantastic experience. There is so much vibrancy at Fisherman's Wharf. Loved the vibe. Easy to get to, close to restaurants, wonderful host, Carene and beautiful house and room! A definite must experience!!!

Unique experience! We loved our stay. The cute little water taxi right out the door was icing on the cake. Note: restaurants close early-ish on Fisherman’s wharf so be sure to check on that if u are staying.

Love the views

Property was as advertised. Fisherman’s Wharf was extremely busy and noisy when we arrived about 5.30pm, but it gets much better and quieter after 9.00pm when the businesses close and the crowds leave.

We had a lovely stay. The location was perfect. With the harbour ferries right outside the front door, within just a few steps we had access to many of the best waterfront restaurants. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Overall we had a wonderful getaway.

Highly recommend this Float Home in Fisherman's Wharf. It's super convenient to enjoy this end of Victoria, snack foods on the Wharf or take a water taxi at your doorstep to other sites. It's a bit small, but it is a houseboat (with one other tenant and the owner living upstairs). The convenience and unique/cuteness factor are definitely worth staying here.

This was a wonderful find! It was perfect for us and we were able to access almost everything by walking. It was very quiet in the evenings as the shops close and the gate gets locked. Sat our on our little deck and enjoyed the view. Carene was an amazing host and was very helpful and attentive to any questions. Very clean and well maintained B&B. The breakfast was a short walk across the green and it was fantastic as well. PERFECT PLACE!!

Awesome floating home B and B.

The location was awesome being at Fisherman's Wharf. Carene (host) was very friendly and professional. Although it wasn't particularly spacious, it was very cozy, and the lack of space was hardly noticed. The little deck was great for enjoying a "sit down" with a beverage.

Unique Victoria stay

Location, location! If you love to walk along the water trails, this place is awesome. Water taxi at your doorstep as well. Free parking an added bonus. Caution— don’t over indulge if you’ve a weak stomach. N Walls are thin, room is spacious with individual heater. 2 seater deck for use and on sunnier, drier days it would be a lovely escape. Cannot comment about the breakfast, our host forgot about us 1 day (life happens) and the other day we didn’t use the coupon for a nearby cafe. Overall, it was a most pleasant and unique experience

Very unique location on the water

Loved our stay!

Great place to stay. Clean. Near the Fisherman's Wharf and close to downtown. Great location to set up as a headquarters for your daily activities.

Generally a unique and different experience. A floating house on the water in a wharf with many restaurants and colorful scenery was appealing. A little inconvenient to unload luggage in the twenty minute unloading zone.

Our trip to Fisherman's Wharf B&B was excellent. The host was very friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable and offered all of the amenities we desired. I would recommend this stay to anyone!

Incredible on the water experience

A very neat experience on the water! It was a very comfortable stay with heated bedding, lotion, tea and even fresh flowers. I will be back and will recommend to everyone.

Staying on the houseboat was lots of fun. The venue was extraordinary: can't get any closer to the water than that!! Evenings were very peaceful since the area is closed to visitors after dark.It was an easy 20 min walk to our conference at the Empress.

One night in Fisherman’s Wharf

We absolutely enjoyed our night here! The location was great, the place is awesome, comfortable and so cute.

Great location

Really liked the location and walked everywhere, except Butchart Gardans. Information we received was not always correct. Wanted to make reservations at il Covo but told they didn't take reservations. When we arrived they said they did but we didn't need to wait long for a table and the dinner was very special
