The staff was helpful, pleasant, and accommodating! The rooftop was lovely too. Thank you!!!!
Awesome staff and location
Reception staff was awesome! Local recommendations and called taxis for us as needed 5 min wait. Walking distance to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and local shopping. Café across the street was great also Caffeteria. Rooftop bar had good drinks and views.
My room opened to an interior alley below that was quite noisy with activity. Also - my bedside lamps were not working.
So central and lovely staff!!
Hotel location was fantastic. Room was small but quaint and very clean. Breakfast was great, staff was wonderful. The service at the rooftop bar could have been better on one of our visits and you should consider informing guests of last call before closing.
Excellent stay and location
Perfect location and room for our family. Separate living room for our child worked out so well and helped all of us sleep better. Room looked just liked the photos, cozy, clean and charming. Location was amazing, easy to walk to everything. I will say that even with the windows and shutters closed it was pretty noisy due to motorcycles and cars outside on the tiny roads - trade off for being in the center of town. Highly recommend.
The location is in the center of Rome. The attractions like the Trevi Fountain and The Pantheon are short walking distance. They have a breakfast buffet with good selections . The hotel elevator is small and slow. You can only fit about 4 people comfortably. The hotel price is pricey. Our average rate was $289 a night. The room is small with two tiny night stand. The front desk is helpful.
Close to all and secure
My daughter and I stayed here and the hotel was perfect! Great location, friendly staff. Room was clean and walking distance to many attractions. Would definitely recommend!
Great location
Nice staff, clean room, and excellent location. Minutes from Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Elevator is small and not very fast (can be an issue when several other guests are also waiting). Fees paid on Expedia does not include other city fees (they will charge you at check out).
Excellent property great staff brilliant location
Everything was great, I would stay here again.
Very convenient location and very comfortable room!
We have stayed at this hotel for the last 16 years and seen it go form a private owned property to a chain boutique hotel. When it was privately owned the customer service was amazing that we remember all the staff, but rooms were deteriorated over the years. With the boutique chain the rooms are great, but the staff rarely interact with you. We stayed here because we like the location and we know the area very well. Overall it was a good experience.
Perfect location for our stay in Rome.
The staff was amazing, the Roof Top Bar has a wonderful staff and the selection of drinks and food was very good. The room was a slight smaller than I thought but was clean and comfortable. The fountain as seen in the listing is a little walk from the hotel, but the sights all around you make the walk enjoyable. The selection of restaurants and shopping so close were great. The staff assisted with transportation several times for tours, they were just great. The interior has a quaint charm and is easy to navigate. I really enjoyed my time there.
Fantastic stay! Would highly recommend!
A wonderful stay at this hotel! My partner and I visited Rome for 3 days and the hotel was simply exceptional. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The roof top bar was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting in the igloo out of the rain. Couldn’t fault this hotel at all. Fresh towels and bedding each day and nothing was too much for the staff here at hotel9 cerasi
Ce petit hôtel est situé en plein coeur de Rome, à proximité de tout. Le service est particulièrement attentionné, l'hôtel est très propre. Vous ne serez pas déçu.
Four days in Rome
Everything was spotless. Location is amazing. You can walk to many major landmarks in under half an hour. This room is perfect as a base for exploring, or for taking a nap as it's in the middle of everything and you'll pass by it on your way to everything else. Very attractive room as well. And Very quiet.
Lovely service and so conveniently located.
Amazing hotel, great staff
Great location
Liked the roof terrace.
Super convenient, staff is very friendly!
No amenities, breakfast was cold, coffee/sugar & cream in the room was not supplied after the first night. Rooms very small.
Very noisy in the rooms so impossible to sleep. Rooftop bar was fully booked so not available to guests.
Over priced .Rooms were very small. Staff was rude. Terrance breakfast was aweful. Waited for 20 minutes for a seat. Finally just sat down. One person working.
Experience not worth the price
Room was not adequately cleaned before our arrival. There was contact lens on floor, long black hairs in the shower. There was a slow drip from ceiling above our toilet which we reported.
Beautiful spacious and gorgeous property - especially the rooftop! One note, it is a bustling area and garbage trucks, etc, arrive early !
Excellent location
Perfect location and walkable near the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain and many shops and restaurants. Only reason for 4 star is service on the rooftop terrace was lacking. It was a beautiful spot for morning coffee but service was too slow. Other than that, a great hotel!
Nice hotel in a good location
This was our second stay here. The hotel and rooftop bar are lovely and comfortable. The location is in the midst of the tourist activity, which is great for walking to everything, but be aware that the area is very busy with people walking around. We’ll be back!
Nothing good to say about the property
Location was excellent, paid for a 4 star but Actually it should have been listed as a 2 star hotel .
Great experience
Beds were so uncomfortable.
The front desk was always helpful, even the first floor rooms were quiet enough, great location for walkability.
The hotel was extremely run down and our room had a bad odor like Indian curry. The AC also didn’t work. When the bathroom window was open it smelled like the toilet facility was below the room. The whole hotel was not inviting to be in and the street it is on is filled with vendors and irritating crowds. Breakfast was extremely average. Would not recommend anyone staying here it is very disappointing.
Great location and excellent rooftop bar.
Overall, great location and the rooftop bar was spectacular. Only drawback was the air conditioning was minimal, despite the hotel maintenance staff inspecting the unit.
Beautiful
Great hotel , well located The one complaint is the outdoor noise which you can easily hear from your room which can get very loud at night
Perfect location to see the Major sights in Rome, staff are the best Dayana she is awesome and everyone is so nice went above and beyond to help us out. View from the roof top is excellent! Thank you!
Enjoyed the rooftop beautiful space for breakfast and drinks with finger foods in the evenings. Only a five minute walk from Trevi fountain. Lots of restaurant choices around. We were on the fourth floor, and there are different levels of the fourth floor so stairs came in to play to get from one side of the floor to the other, but they helped with the luggage. The AC was controlled by the hotel. We couldn’t get it below 19 Celsius and it was a hot summer! I would stay here again.
Booked the Hotel, sadly the rooms are dirty, the bed is the worst part! Bed bugs, massive bite on my shoulder which is now infected! Be careful.
Great location to hit all of the major tourist attractions. Other reviews complained that it was quite loud at night, but I did not find that to be the case.
All the staff super friendly and hotel very well located!
The location is possibly the best in Rome. It is the reason we booked this hotel. We were very happy with our entire 3 day stay though. The employees were very personable and helpful and friendly in every interaction, from check-in/out to the breakfast ladies and the rooftop bar employees. The room was larger than expected and the whole property must have been renovated in the past decade because everything seemed new and fresh. They have a good ariconditioning system which we found so important to a good night sleep midsummer in Rome.
Great location, can walk to tons of restaurants and to Trevi Fountain. Rooms are clean, breakfast on the rooftop bar was ok, staff is very accommodating and helpful.
Centrally located right by the pantheon and trevi fountain! Nice hotel with friendly staff
We enjoyed our one night stay here. We flew over night and were very tired and so happy Dayana was able to help us get into our room early! Great location! Very walkable to major sites. Clean with a nice staff and great rooftop for drinks and breakfast. Great spot.
On top of the hotel
The hotel was very central with a lovely roof terrace
The room smelled like mold heavy air, rooms are very tiny and dark, hallway has no lights it was like a haunted hotel scene.
NO AC AT ALL! CONS: There was a weird smell in the room and bathroom. The rooms are really hot at this time of year, and you can't lower the AC. They're also too small! I couldn't tell where the smell was coming from. PROS: walkable distance from tourist places, many dining and shopping options.
Perfect hotel for our stay in Rome. Centrally located within walking distance to several major sites. Scores of restaurants all around.
Very helpful staff
An amazing place to stay in Rome. Fantastic location. The hotel location was perfect, Super close to so many sites and restaurants. And excellent Breakfast on the roof top bar which is very lovely. Staff were excellent and friendly and extremely helpful. Without a doubt, we would stay at the 9Hotel Cesari if we return to Rome.
The check-in was horrible. The receptionists was extremely rude and un-accommodating. Great location but a very rude staff to Americans. Make sure if you book this hotel you arrive when they allow check-in at 3pm.
We picked this hotel because it showed a great roofrop spave and bar. However, guest at the hotel could use the rooftop because random people off the street had reserved all spots. They had nothing saved or held for actual hotel guest. And they were very rude when we asked for assistance. Also, as a result of the rooftop neing overrun by random people and non-guest the elevator was never available. Its old and slow in the first place, but it was constantly full with drunk people making a ton or noise until 1230 at night. I felt the photos were a total bate and switch. VERY MISLEADING. I would NEVER stay there again or use Expedia to book any travel plans. Horrible.
Great location
All the staff was great and accommodating, rooms are nice and clean. AC worked decently. Elevators although small were great ! Overall I would highly recommend the hotel as well I would definitely come back.
Perfect location!!!
The central location was great
Brilliant gem of a hotel right in the middle of Rome’s historic quarter. The roof terrace was the perfect oasis after a busy days sightseeing. Food and drink there was great but for amazing local meals the staff made excellent recommendations…
nice rooftop
Clean, friendly staff
Small clean nice hotel.Great rooftop bar.Friendly staff.
Staff was super friendly and helpful!!!!
I’ll start with the positives, location is in the middle of everything and makes the city very walkable and the bed was comfortable. The roof top bar is awesome but not worth staying here. Outside of that this was a disappointment. The room honestly felt like and looked like a hospital. There were marks all over the walls and overall just needed a good cleaning. It was loud at all hours, like so loud. Street vendors selling toys outside your windows that sounds like screeching and it never stopped. Rome can be overwhelming so going back to a hotel that was loud and dirty never gave us a chance to relax. Sensory overload in the worst way. We will try another hotel next time.
We asked for early checking and it was requested . We really appreciate it . Friendly staff,
Hotel was really nice with an amazing rooftop restaurant and bar. The room was spacious for two people and was in a great area in the city center. We were able to walk to all the top attractions we wanted to see. The only downside was it was a bit noisy early in the morning when the trash got picked up. Our room was on the front of the hotel. Despite this I would stay here again on a return visit to Rome.
Very welcoming staff, super ideal location placing you in the heart of Rome and very close to all the major sites. I would definitely come back
Loved it
We loved the location, it is very close to the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain, shopping, and restaurants. It is on a lively street, not very quiet, but in the middle of a lot of action which made it fun and convenient. The hotel itself is very nice inside. We loved the breakfast buffet and being able to eat it on the rooftop patio. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. Great stay!
Great location, very friendly and helpful staff
Great location and nice sized room
I booked this hotel for our last night in Italy completely because of the rooftop bar. There is one…it’s nice enough, but zero view and a reservation was required.
Very centrally located. 5 minutes from the pantheon. Many dining options steps away. I must say it is a bit noisy at night so if you are a light sleeper you may not get any sleep.
Super convenient to walk to the Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, Vatican City and The Colosseum. We had to keep asking for towels as they would only give us one at a time. Also ran out of shower gel and they kept forgetting to refill it.
Very nice stay at this hotel, vacinity to most attractions, most areas are walkable like the Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Venezia, Basilica di San Marco al Campidoglio and much more including reastauants, markets, scooters, bikes, etc. The room was spacious and area clean. The breakfast selection was everything you would want and at the rooftop. Definitely recommend this hotel
Five Stars
Beautiful hotel! Great location as it’s walking distance to everything. Rooftop bar/patio was perfect for evening cocktails.
Love the room and common areas and staff were delightful
This location is convenient to the city highlights. The staff was more than generous to assist with questions and transportation options. Everyone of the staff members were courteous and wanting to ensure the experience was high level. The roof top bar/restaurant was an added bonus.
Great location and service
Nice hotel in a fantastic location. Easy walking to everything, especially Trevi fountain and Pantheon. The service was excellent from arrival to departure. Like most hotels in Rome, the rooms are on the smaller side, so not much for sitting room. However the bed was comfortable and it’s plenty big enough for 2 people. I highly recommend staying here.
Very well located with lots of restaurants very close 4 min walk from Trevi Fountain and pantheons
Location, friendly staff, great room
Staff could have done a better job of preparing the room for three people not two. We only got two towels, two cups, two teas, two pairs of sandals. ... It was three people.
Amazing stay! Great on all fronts. Would DEFINITELY stay again. Be sure to enjoy the breakfast and rooftop bar.
The location of this property is amazing!! We were in walkable distance to everything!! The staff took care of all of our needs and you can’t beat the rooftop restaurant. We had a beautiful Easter weekend visit. Thank you!
As far as customer service, Simon was very helpful and there was another girl with dark hair everybody else they were not helpful at all as far as the rooms was very small. The shower was leaking all over and the pillows was really bad. That would be one of the biggest problems I have with the hotel beside that it’s OK.
lovely roof terrace ..terrific location ,comfortable rooms with windows that actually open .
Located in Centre City, a minute walk from Trevi fountain. Since youre near a main street it is very noisy until about 1 AM. If you need quiet, this place isnt for you. Other than the noise I was happy with the stay. No real complaints. I travelled alone to explore the city and was just looking for a simple room to sleep in.
Rome
Beautiful city ,beautiful hotel, very central, quite noisy at night , brilliant breakfast and lovely staff
Excellent stay
Excellent stay. Brilliant location and modern rooms.
nice hotel friendly staff & great roof terrace
nice hotel friendly staff & great roof terrace took ages at times to get served on roof terrace so maybe something for the hotel to look at on busy weekends
The surrounding area is amazing. One can walk to virtual everything. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. However, our bed was down right dreadful! It was two mattresses placed together that kept separating. Also, a little more counter space would be very nice.
Our stay was phenomenal at this property. We had little inconveniences during our stay but when we reported it to the desk lady; she fixed them right away. Also the blonde lady at the front desk was so cordial and nice, she made our stay better. I would highly recommend this hotel !
Wonderful experience
No.1
Amazing location, super clean & modern rooms, comfy bed, extremely lovely staff, and superb roof top garden/bar. Will come back.

The location is the best here. Other than that it is a basic 3 star hotel. I have a young kid who still share bed with us and they made me book another room for her thaf I did not use at all! It is the first time I have been asked to do it after travelling so many places. It is super expensive in the end for me but i have no other choice! Check with the hotel before booking if you have small kid.
