Front desk crew are habitually welcoming, friendly and involved. Housekeeping is phenomenally meticulous, and the rooms are scrupulously clean. Anything that breaks (lights, plugs etc) is literally almost immediately fixed, too. And the breakfast is delicious and far more than the advertised "continental brekkie" with a choice of, I believe, 5 different hot dishes (I recommend the pancakes with syrup. And then add bacon and butter!) Also, the folks in the resto are almost all a delight to deal with. And the kitchen is very, very good with their honey soy chicken wings as my personal fave!

The property is centrally located, close to the mall, train station, tourist offices like city seeing and walking distance to waterfront. I think the breakfast time could be extended a little

Good hotel

Good hotel, good location. Breakfast is good although same everyday but it’s free and tasty. Room was big good bathroom. Only problem they didnt have towels the day we arrived and had to wait to next day.

Had a wonderful stay at 91 Loop. The location is great and I enjoyed the free breakfast each morning. The staff is friendly and my room was comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend.

If you want a good night sleep stay somewhere else. Positives: rooms and bathrooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Nice bar/resturant with a good menu. Negatives: The internet is poor so it will be difficult to get work done. The hostel is very busy and there are no quiet places to relax and just read. Hostel is very noisy. The hostel is next door to a bar/nightclub which makes it very load at night. There is no air conditioning and the fan does very little to keep the room cool. Very difficult to sleep!! On my next visit to town I will be staying somewhere else!

91 Loop is 100% Great

91 Loop is a modern, clean, and friendly hostel in the heart of Cape Town. The location is within walking distance to all the "touristy" sights in the city and Ubers are cheap and easily accessible. The walking tours offered are a great introduction to the city. The free breakfast offered from 7-10am is varied and very much appreciated. All of the staff here is friendly and efficient, Tambo was especially kind and welcoming. The "restaurant" within the hostel is a great option for meals (remember to show your room key card for 15% off). The bed was comfortable and always had hot water in the bathroom. Definitely recommend!

Cute, hip, affordable hostel in a good location. The staff was friendly, fun, and helpful. The hostel has a bar, restaurant, pool table, games and trips organized by hostel, events on certain nights, a lot of open space with charging stations for guests to hang out, free WiFi, which makes it super convenient. They also have free breakfast which is a nice bonus. We had such a great time here and would definitely stay here again!

This place was really new and clean looking. The location was also very good. I wasn’t there much, but the vibe was not a place to meet people, it’s too big. The price was great for comfort. The beds were good and the bathrooms new. I didn’t love all the stairs and long hallways or how cold the dorms were. My last morning, I saw a large cockroach in our bathroom.

It was very good, no complain whatsoever, felt comfortable throughout and gotten all the help i needed for sure.

Nice hotel situated in middle of all the action

Hotel is very clean. Beds are comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very good. The Coffee could be better. The Internet worked well but could be a tad slow during the peak periods. 91 Loop is situated very close to Long Street and Green Market. The Hop On Hop Off office is about 50 m away. It can be noisy at night if your room is situated close to the street noise.

Great hostel in downtown Cape Town.

91 Loop is a recently renovated hostel in downtown Cape Town. Checking into the hostel was quick and easy and the facility was very secure, using a keycard system to access the room. I was in a dorm room and it was incredibly spacious. The keycard was also used to access the individual locker located below the bunk beds. The lockers were spacious... but not very clean as dust and debris had been left behind. Each bed had its own power outlet and light which was very convenient. There is a restaurant and bar facility attached to the hostel and I received a welcome gift of a complimentary drink upon checking in. Towels were also provided without having to pay a deposit. In this hostel, a deposit fee was only charged if the keycard and towel was not returned upon checkout. The hostel was right on the MyCiti bus routes, so getting around was very easy. WiFi was excellent throughout the facility.

Dorms should be specific and no hidden truth

On our arrival, we were excited and eager to check in. then we found out that we are to share the room, "what s going on?". the receptionist told us that we will be 5 ladies and one gentleman, we hesitantly accepted and signed. we checked in and went for a walk, when we came back we found the room full of men, very you. it was up and down the whole night. it was very unconfortable for us as we are afican ladies in mid 40s. we ddnt sleep a wink. in the morning we went to talk with the manager and to ask for change of room. We were told that thats what we booked for and there are no rooms available.It was our first experience with the dorm thing,and it felt so unethical. we tried to talk to the manager to do something for us, but he told us there is nothing ge can do for us.they refused our friend going up with us, but those boys had girls I the room with them. we had to cancel our booking at that hotel without a single cent refund. even when asked that shoul they get guests who wont mind the condition, during the dates we paid for, will they refund us? they said no. we were 2 ladies and were got scared of being too challenging. we went to search for another hotel, we compared and choce Cape Ocean Lodge at 53 Loop Str. we had a decent private room with tv, we had a wonderful stay there at Cape Lodge HOTEL. we had to pay R2800 for our stay. but we were ok with it. so now we are not happy because they 91 Loop, got people for sure, but we were never refunded!

Good for joy - hard to sleep

New and modern, more like a hotel. No own cooking possibilities but inhouse restaurant and simple continental breakfast + fruit included in the good price for the bunk in the dorm. Very noisy outside and because there is no ventilation or fan in the room you have to have the windows to the street open. Inhouse disco until 23.30 on Saturday and no sound insulation between the storeys also made it very hard to sleep though earplugs. Wonderful, friendly staff and inhouse "travel agency"

Five Star Back Packers!!

Although categorised as Back packers, it was unbelievable - clean, comfortable, friendly staff, free wifi, close to all amenities, and the room was serviced. Included a breakfast for that price!! Best of all, we had a comfortable, king size bed, with luxurious white cotton linen!! I will not travel to cape town and waste money on expensive hotels again!!!

I had such a wonderful time. The team at the hotel did everything to make me comfortable and more, really great people! Not to mention the activities they put together and the social aspect of my stay!

I had a good time. The hostel looks new and very hip. I just wish it was a bit more full. It was a little quiet. But I would definately recommend this place to friends and stay again

Tesia genel olarak güzel. Gezginler için dizayn edilmiş. Özel bir odada konakladım. Duş havlusu kirliydi ama değiştirdiler. Kahvaltı seçeneği kısıtlı yumurtalı , patatesli , soğanlı, fasulyeli garip acımsı bir şey yemek zorunda kaldım 3 gün :) ama güzel. Şehrin tam ortasında bulunuyor cadde genel olarak güvenli. Cape towna tekrar gelsem kalır mıyım. Muhtemelen kalırım.

에어컨이 없다는 것 빼고는 아주 완벽한 호스텔! 총 5박 중 하루 엄청 더운 날이 있었는데 에어컨이 없어서 잠을 못이룰 정도였음 ㅠㅠ 각 방에 선풍기가 있긴 한데 소리만 크고 별로 안시원함... 하지만 1층의 바가 넘나 좋고, 밤에는 짱 시원함 밤에 1층 바에서 맥주한잔 시켜놓고 바람쐬면 넘나 행복!

Ett enkelt och smidigt boende om du bara behöver stanna någon natt. Pod- rummet var helt klart ett bra alternativ och det känns som att du får ditt egna utrymme.

Os quartos são bem limpos, recepção 24h, café da manhã bom! As camas de cima são muito altas, então se você tem dificuldade com isso peça pra ficar na de baixo. Faltam áreas de convivência e o bar fecha cedo!!!

6人部屋に2泊しました。トイレ、シャワーも清潔です。朝食がついていて美味しく頂きました。治安も悪くなく問題なく快適に過ごせました。次回も利用します

カプセルに泊まりました。清潔で快適でしたが、窓が開かず部屋がやや暑かった。連泊する場合、１泊づつ予約をするとちゃんと新しいタオルをもらえます。 なお空港送迎は１８０ランドですが、マイシティバスも空港から１００ランドするので（しかもシビックセンターまでの上、運が悪いと３０分ぐらい待たないといけない）送迎を頼んだほうが良いと思います。
