4U Resort Samui

The property is located in a good location with a restaurant and cafe of its own. The downside of the property is the bathroom which has a strange arrangement that can create inconvenience.

Shuttle airport was arranged and no complications despite a flight delay. Delicious breakfast and drink selection. Lack of water pressure during peak times

Right on beautiful Lamai beach, food and staff wonderful, but front desk closes and no security, no phone in room's to call front desk,no employee to help with luggage,I thought was strange

On arrival when we saw our room we were super disappointed because the door had gaps in and the bathroom was a wet room so that’s a disadvantage. HOWEVER. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Our minds quickly changed from “we hate it” to “best value for money” as we paid <£35 a night. The pool was great, they offered free snorkelling kit and games for beach activities. I’d recommend this place for a “cheap stay!”. Staff were very friendly as a bonus and we rented a bike from the hotel for 200 THB a day. Good value for money all around

While being located right on the sea is an advantage, the area around the hotel lacked charm and mainly there are only local restaurants and massage shops. For a property of this price range, I expected better help from the front desk, rather than the 1 staff who gave wrong information many times and who was not concerned by customer service. After 6 nights I finally had to ask for my bathroom to be cleaned as attention was paid mainly to changing the towels on a daily basis, even if they were not used. This also went against the posted cleaning policy for conserving water.

Quiet, not too in the mix, definitely 3 stars

Hotel is in a quiet area of Lamai Beach, there were still cool temples, some attractions, restaurants, bars near us. But not as populated, and not as many options as the more central areas near the night market. The hotel itself was fine, it has a good bar/restaurant by the beach. Nice beach chairs and pool. The only negative for me was the bed felt like it was filled with sand before we even slept in it. I was constantly wiping sand off the bed the whole trip, and it wasn’t from us. The entire bathroom is one unit, meaning theres a toilet, sink, and a detachable shower head in the middle of the room. Theres no separate bathtub area. So you basically take a shower with the toilet right next to you. It’s kind of annoying bc everything gets wet, but we got used to it.

Really nice resort for this price, clean and quiet, very easy to walk to the main street and the beach. You can use SUP, snorkels and kayaking for free. I'm very satisfied with everything, got free upgrades for the room too, that's very kind of them.

What an amazing place to stay, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It also has direct beach access which is win win.

Because it is beach access, which is great, it is a bit in so to get to any variety of restaurants, it’s a little further out. Other than that, it’s a good place to stay. Rooms are clean. A little dark feeling at times. The breakfast is good, though not much variety but you get a good portion!

Nice Getaway

15 nites. Not retrofitted for people with disabilities, actually the whole island.

Great place to stay, had a couple of problems with room but rectified immediately. Nice staff, helpful. Would recommend hiring moped from here as cheaper than local rentals. Could do with more sun beds and umbrellas.

Location is great, by the beach and not too far from the road so you can walk to restaurants etc. The beach is really nice and not too crowded, the hotel bar & restaurant quaint and neat, good breakfast options, as well as lunch & dining. They also offer massage which is right by the beach and was very good - same price as elsewhere so no need to worry that you are paying resort pricing. The owners were at the hotel present and very helpful, the staff is fantastic! There are not an awful lot of shopping or nightlife options at this part of Lamai, which we liked as we were traveling with kids. Easy to get to sights and activities with taxi or scooter.Highly recommend 4U!

We never received water on a daily bases. They had one restaurant, the prices were high and the portions were beyond small.

All very nice was spoilt by the rain

The hotel is in a great location along Lamai Beach and is walkable to near by restaurants. The rooms are as shown in photos. Breakfast was not included in our booking but there are many breakfast options around. Although the resort was clean, the surrounding beach area had plenty of garbage on it. Very disapointing.

We were staying with 2 kids and this place is amazing. Spacious rooms, great room cleaning, we had both extra bed and baby cot which was still amazing. I wish we could stay a little longer:) Thank you 4u resort for hosting us. Best thing ever at the resort. Kids room, trampoline and a lot of toys for the beach and sup and kayak.for free:) If you have kids, please book

Quiet and great for swimming, so for me an excellent spot!

Locatie aan het strand. Kleinschalig. Ideale locatie bij mooi weer.

Sehr schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick im 1.OG. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. SUP's und weitere Geräte fürs Wasser könnte man kostenlos nutzen. Das Frühstück war einfach aber Lecker. Die Auswahl war eher gering, aber für 5 Nächte ausreichend. Fazit: Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und können das Hotel nur Empfehlen

11 nuits dans cet hôtel avec accès à la plage et transats restauration bonne et variés possibilité de louer des scooters et transferts à l’aéroport ou ailleurs le personnel est souriant, accueillant et discret les chambres sont spacieuses celui ci ce trouve à 20 mn à pied du centre ou 100bth en tuktuk

Un petit resort plein de charme avec des gens très sympathiques. Pour le prix payer c'est vraiment une excellente affaire

Séjour globalement bien

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour car c’était propre et le personnel était gentil mais l’emplacement de la chambre derrière a fait qu’il manquait de luminosité dans la chambre

Everthing perfect

Very nice big rooms. The room was more on the basic side but it was perfect. The beach was very nice and, most of the time, there was enough sunbeds at any time of the day. A bit far from center lamai but it was nice and calm. Really enjoyed my stay.

Gutes Hotel im 3 Sterne Bereich.

Das Hotel war sauber und ordentlich. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Hauptgebäude. Die Massage am Strand war toll und da das Hotel direkt am Strand liegt, konnte man direkt ins Meer. Schöne ruhige Lage. Das Badezimmer fanden wir nicht sehr komfortabel.

Excellent hôtel avec un personnel au top, avec une équipe au restaurant d’une extrême gentillesse ! Le service de massage est vraiment un plus avec aussi des masseuses super agréable !

Few steps to the beach, very relaxing especially when you like listening to the waves. The staff were helpful. If I come to Koh Samui again, I would definitely choose 4U again.

Die Lage ist gut, direkt am Strand. Allerdings war das Meer an dieser Stelle sehr stürmisch, sodass man nicht so gut baden konnte und sehr viel Müll am Strand lag (wir waren im Februar 23 dort, vielleicht ist es je nach Jahreszeit anders). Das Bett war sehr hart und unbequem (hatten ein Standardzimmer). Die Lage ist gut was Restaurants und Spaziergänge am Strand angeht aber wir würden nicht noch einmal ins 4U gehen. Positiv war allerdings, dass die Kommunikation und das Roller ausleihen beim Hotel problemlos geklappt haben (ohne Kaution oder Reisepass abgeben).
