Nice hotel
Marginal location in SoHo. On the border of Chinatown and Little Italy, tourist traps and pretty dumpy, per my experience working in the City for 16 years and living in the NY metro area for 25 years.
Amazing staff. Very accommodating
NA
Convenient, clean, and friendly staff
Just terrible… do not recommend.
Great hotel . Great location
Beautiful property, staff was friendly and thoughtful!
For the price i was very disappointed. Tiny room and they didn’t even have smart TVs.
Love the location. We've stayed numerous times and always had a great experience.
My stay was great. Room was clean and comfortable.
We found this stuff to be extremely helpful and pleasant. We upgraded to a terrace king suite however the interior was dated and tired. The bed however, was extremely comfortable.
Very nice location and clean
Quiet and comfy bed
The staff at 11 Howard are helpful, friendly and go above and beyond for their customers, and I can truly say that about every person I encountered during my stay. It makes all the difference! Thank you.
Very Good
11 Howard NYC
The location was great. We were upgraded to the PH which I appreciated because it was a bit larger than the standard room. Older hotels in NYC are small. None of the ice machines on the floors worked. bar prices were very high but we got a coupon for a free drink in the library only which was great.
The hotel location is very convenient. The hotel staff have always been amazing to our requests. The rooms are great.
Nice staff and great location. But the rooms are so small…
Honestly, it’s just not that nice. I’ve stayed at much nicer places in the city. The rooms need to be painted and hit with a magic eraser. No water in the rooms. Customer service was meh.
Great location and generous room size for NYC. Quality bath products and linens.
Nothing
Overall disappointing and not worth of a five star rating. Staff brusque and not overly helpful. Incorrect charge to room for something we didn’t order was hugely disputed and we were made to feel like liars Also had no hot water for the first day and the bath we paid extra for didn’t hold water until the second day when it go fixed
This hotel is beautiful and the staff is very accommodating.
A very horrible hotel, I will never stay with it again, what a ridiculous 5stars hotel rating!
Great property in a great location
Property was dark and amenities were practically nonexistent. The rooms are tiny. The bathtub in our room did not drain properly.
Great stay in February 2024
Great place and location. Bars in the hotel are great and many restaurants around the area.
Ok
check in... less than professional, no friendly face or hello. it was like i was doing them a favor checking in. Room was not clean, rug was dirty. and furniture pieces broken. I checked out after one night and forfeited my second night to move to another hotel. I would not go there
Great property and overall chic place to stay
Great location to reach the rest of nyc. Room was small but very comfortable. Nice bar on location.
I recently enjoyed a truly delightful stay at the 11 Howard Hotel, and as always, it was an absolute pleasure. Boasting a team of dedicated and attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience, this hotel never disappoints. The 11 Howard consistently shines when it comes to cleanliness, leaving no stone unturned to maintain a pristine environment. Coupled with the attractive interior elements, the aesthetic sensibilities and ambiance are genuinely impressive. Most importantly, the hotel ensured unparalleled comfort, allowing me to feel right at home during my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend the 11 Howard Hotel for an unforgettable stay that keeps you coming back for more!
Check in was smooth and quick and the staff member who checked us in was phenomenal and took great care of us! The room was comfy, and romantically decorated. Amazing night’s sleep and quiet from a hard to tell you are in NYC POV.
I honestly struggle to understand how the 11 Howard is part of the 5 stars hotels category. The room was clean but no way to make a coffee or tea inside. The lobby, the corridors and overall the place looks old and dusty. Staff were nice and friendly but despite a 5 stars hotel price, the experience was a 4 stars at most.
11 Howard is one of my favorite places to stay when traveling to NYC. The entire experience is always above average. Being I travel frequently, it’s important to me to be comfortable and safe. The staff is exceptional every time I visit. Great hospitality, amenities and overall aesthetic - fun, inviting and just cool!
Nice hotel good location. I had to check out early and the restaurant doesn’t open until 7am which is understandable but there is no coffee machine in the room. Unless you request. Weird for an expensive hotel that it’s not in the room on arrival Roads all closed around the hotel when I was there so hard to get a taxi with all my luggage and there’s no doorman or anyone to help with luggage or anything like that
All around a great stay because of the location. Only wish there was a little more space to store clothes—tiny closet, much of it taken up by safe and fridge and 2 small drawers. Would prefer a dresser instead of the table.
The rooms are small but similar to many other NY hotels. Staff were helpful and friendly, love the Blond bar and library area. Would have loved a nespresso machine in the room or electric jugs and cups.
For the price per night and “luxury” marketing it was terribly disappointing to stay here one night let alone 3. The room itself was the size of a mouse-trap: I had to shuffle sideways between the beds and desk to get to the bathroom. The walls are so darn thin, we heard everything our neighbors said and did, and I know they heard us too. When did “luxury” get defined by no amenities whatsoever?!? I mean not even cotton balls, q-tips, or a shower cap in the bathroom, let alone slippers and bathrobe! I was so surprised to see an iron and ironing board in the “closet” but where the heck would I have unfolded it to iron my clothes? In the dark and dank hallway?!? As a business traveler, the “library/cafe” was OK but cafe it was not. There are way too many affordable, spacious, and updated hotels in the city to waste $500 a night at this joint as a business traveler. Will not stay here again.
Hotel was average to sub-average. I found the dimly lit hallways and restaurants to present as dirty and unsafe. Would not stay there again as there are far superior hotels for less money. Staff seemed non-chalant, so frankly they could almost do without them there at all…
I had a great stay at 11 Howard. It's in a great neighborhood, quiet part of SoHo, close to some great restaurants like Tyger and Le Cou Cou. I was on the 6th floor, had no spectacular view, and it was quiet. Staff were very nice. Someone was at the door to help me with my luggage and, upon request, staff always provided me with bottled water at the reception. The room was nice and clean. The TV does not have Chromecast, but did have basic cable tv channels and on-demand movies. I'm a fan of Chromecast and the ability to watch Netflix or other apps on the tv. They also did not offer slippers or a vanity set. For the price, I was expecting, at least, make-up remover wipes, cotton balls/pads and/or q-tips. However, they had lotion, conditioner and shampoo and soap, of course. I did order room service once and it was very good and delivered in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, I would stay here again.
Disappointed. Expensive and NOT 5* Rooms tiny (even an upgrade). Everything extra - not even cotton wool/buds in the room. No coffee machine or robes in room which I would expect for 5* Felt like you were just another faceless punter. Not value for money at all
Desk staff is lovely. 2nd floor library has poor service.
Front desk staff is great!
Loved!
5 Star Location
Loved the location, we walked everywhere. A private event had The Library closed during our stay, otherwise hotel was lovely. Friendly staff and very clean. Great vanity lighting in bathrooms, comfy bed and linens. We will return.
Reception service is really bad, they should treat people more nicely! Overpriced for that kind of service not going there for my next trip
Very Nice Staff . Great location .Rooms are small but very nice .Loved the Restaurant attached super good Seafood .
Nice vibrant area of NYC. The hotel was nice and clean. the hallways and elevators were too dark.
Great service and style! The location was fantastic and connects you to many of the cities iconic neighborhoods!
Great location
Staff is friendly and helpful Bed mattress is super comfortable Lighting is too dark everywhere Good location
Arrived from abroad super early to attend my daughter’s wedding. Front desk folks got me into a great room. Amazing. very kind and patient folks. I will be returning for sure. Thank you very much! Arrived from abroad super early to attend my daughter’s wedding. Front desk folks got me into a great room. Amazing. very kind and patient folks. I will be returning for sure. Thank you very much!
excellent customer service
Stayed on a Saturday night on the 6th floor. Could hear full conversation of the people in the room next to us well into the night. Additionally, there is a bar/club on the second floor and we could feel the music from that club in our room.
Great place, nice rooms. But area not the greatest
The customer service is excellent
Very convenient location
Great hotel in a great location!
Amazing stay!
Awful in-room technology
In-room tablet did not work so no room service then when I complained they said they would reboot the system, the tablet lit up the room at 4.30am waking me up, also then the alarm clock had remained set from previous occupant and woke me up at 5.30am in the dark and I had to turn the lights on to figure out how to shut it off.
Mediocre Hotel
The rooms are just okay, there is nothing that makes it feel like this is a five-star hotel. One is paying for the location.
Loved the aesthetic, service was great room was comfy great food near by. I will definitely stay here again
Great Soho option
This is the first hotel in Manhattan I’ve stayed in 20 years that is quiet at night without sirens or honking. Maybe I got lucky. Maybe the block is generally less trafficked. The rooms are tiny but cost and pretty. Great bathroom.
Beautiful hotel, though starting to show some wear and tear. Our room had an adjoining door and we could hear every word our neighbors said, so we never felt we had total privacy. It put a damper on our trip.
The property was fantastic! Staff very nice the only downside was the hotel bar was not open passed 4 pm on Sunday (bummer) and closed entirely on Monday. Should have looked at the hours rather than assuming everything would be open.
11 Howard
Smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. No drawers and very tiny closet which took awhile to find. No charging ports nor accessible outlet near bed. Good location.
Location
Small rooms and slow service and unhelpful staff
We kept having to ask front desk for towels because when ordered through the app, they never came. They forgot house coats in our room. Staff don't help with luggage or doors which is surprising at a 5-star hotel. Our room was too small for two beds - kept bumping into the bed. I also stayed in a room for one night with just one king, that was fine for space. There is no coffee or tea station?! That is just unheard of for a 5-star. And no complimentary water is silly too. The restaurant on the main floor should be open earlier and stay open later. Hours are not great.
Furniture an the building condition needs to be refurbished
The room was not clean when I checked towels had make up and the comforter had stains it was pretty gross
We liked the direction that La Rubia seems to be taking.
Great hotel.
Expedia vip amenity was denied by staff
Was refused free drink amenity as stated on Expedia
No gym. Ltd food options at night
Best in NYC!
11 Howard is one of my all time favorite places to stay. The staff is wonderful the rooms are nice and it’s in a perfect spot!
Great location
Great location, nice hotel
Great Location, Very Comfortable
The location is fantastic. Even though the hotel has popular bars and restaurants, my room was very quiet. One downside was there were no shelves or drawers into the room and a very small hanging space.
The staff was so friendly and helpful.
Great stay for us locals who are staying out late. Hotel is located in soho and has all the essentials and a clean & pleasing modern design. Library is beautiful. Rooms are smaller but this is NYC so as expected.
It was nice and clean but I wouldn't call it a 5 star establishement. 4.5 stars at best. Can't complain for the price compared to other 5 star rated hotel in the area but expected more.
Walls a paper thing, you hear everyone’s door and walking down the hall - you can’t have a normal sleep. Either sleep at penn station or at this hotel is the same experience.
always love staying here!
We’ll be going back. Easy downtown location.
My room wasn’t very clean. Dirty table. Shopping bag in closet from previous guest. No remote control for TV. Also had a window that wouldn’t shut completely—something maintenance tried to address but didn’t totally fix. But by far the biggest issue I had was the bar/club on site. Not only are you, as a hotel guest, not allowed to enter after 9, the business almost guarantees thumping music, screaming crowds, and honking horns outside your partially opened window until 5am on weekend nights. Let’s just say that I got two horrible nights of rest in a super small, somewhat clean hotel room with zero amenities. Not my best experience.
Great stay and great staff! Would love to go back.
No valet and suggested parking is far.
I loved it and cannot wait to go back!
No way that’s a 5 star hotel. Ok value for soho but 5 star is misleading
Small room but great location in SoHo
Front desk acts snobby, couldn’t even get a water
My first choice location when I visit NYC!
Hotel charged us for the complimentary upgrade that was supposed to be free. Rooms are very small, its not a 5 star hotel at all, which is very disappointing.
The staff are very helpful and wonderful but the hotel is like living in a train station, noisy , loud and busy .
Rooms are impossibly small, no drawers, safety nox doesn’t work staff pretend to be “cool” but no one cares, Its like a holiday in with 5 star prices.
i do wish le cucu had a bar that one could go to for just a drink, I liked the room 808 I had. I love the new cafe off the 1st floor
The dude bro employees were the worst part of my stay. They all they looked like they didn't want to be bothered.
No toiletries in bathroom. Clean room but small.
