Hotel is well maintained and staff are very courteous. Located close to great dining & shopping options.

Location, Location, Location. Everything was excellent. Just a note: the room size is very, very small, and there are no spa amenities on site. Understandable but worth noting.

Wenn ich ein 5 Sterne Hotel zu einem hohen Preis buche, dann erwarte ich auch 5 Sterne. Gebucht haben wir ein größeres Zimmer und bekommen haben wir ein kleines, einen Punkt Abzug gibt es dafür. Einen weiteren Punkt Abzug gibt es für die fehlende Toilettenbürste, für einen Fernseher ohne Streaming Möglichkeit, für einen Seifenspender der nie nachgefüllt wurde und für Steckdosen, die aus der Wand raus ragten. Allen Gästen die Ruhe bevorzugen würde ich davon abraten im 10 Karakoy zu übernachten, man bekommt erst nach der dritten Nacht ein Auge zu. Von der Sauberkeit her können wir uns nicht beschweren. Buchen würde ich dennoch nicht noch einmal.

Not as good as it was 3 years ago, when I stayed there again. Location remains a strong point. Services average at best. The available breakfast, a shadow of the previous one.

Checkin staff hotel were very good. A problem with shower draining. Hotel responded immediately and fixed it, an excellent response.

Modern and comfortable hotel close to the tram, Galata tower and Galata port. Staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything they can. The only drawback was the noise each morning from 7-8am coming from the lobby and reception area.

10 Karakoy is fantastic. We were there for 9 nights. Great location for getting around central Istanbul on the European side. Great value for the price. Luxurious rooms. Great breakfasts. Special thanks to the staff, who went out of their way to welcome, assist, and spend time chatting with us. We miss them!

Super comfortable and luxurious hotel

Will definitely come back to this hotel! The staff were sweet, the rooms were very clean, the hotel overall was lovely.

I guess it was a one-time incident but my room was not cleaned second day. I raised my concern and ask cleaning when I arrived at hotel. It took an hour to het proper feedback. Finally, I received clean towels and complimentary water.

Excellent guidance extended to accommodate my needs during my stay by hotel associates. Undoubtedly, the hotel's location stands out for its exceptional accessibility to various modes of public transportation, including buses, trams, and metros, conveniently connecting to the main attractions of the area. I highly recommend the hotel primarily due to its outstanding location to touristic locations. However, It is important to highlight a concern regarding the room size and Given the hotel's proximity to a bustling street, it would be beneficial for the establishment to review room provisions to ensure a more comfortable experience for guests ( the area is loud)

A very clean, friendly hotel. Staff very friendly. Only issue was the room which lacked a mirror in the bedroom and where the air con was very inconsistent. Also in the bathroom, mirror was very oddly positioned and there were not enough hooks to hang things on. Overall though we were very happy with our stay

We had a fantastic stay at 10 Karakoy hotel. We were in Istanbul for my partner's hair transplant and the location was excellent. After his procedure we were easily able to walk or take the tram/bus wherever we needed to go. The staff were incredibly polite and efficient and the room extremely comfortable. I would say the rooftop terrace which was very nice could do with some sprucing up and the gym area was limited/in need of improvement hence the 4 star rating I gave. No pool available which was a shame. The surrounding area (Karakoy/Galata) is a mix of beautiful hotels/shops and run-down buildings but clearly this is an area in a state of regeneration and in 5 years time I think will be even better. I will definitely stay there again next time I go to Istanbul.

The staff were very solicitous about our comfort, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel was near the waterfront with a lot of great restaurants. The tram stopped very close to the hotel and offered easy access to every neighborhood in Istanbul. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Istanbul.

Hotel was a great location and beautiful decor. We got an upgrade to the floor above but the room was still a little small and noisy at night due to the trams and bars nearby. Would stay here again but next time ask for a quieter room if they have one!

Great location near tram, bus stations and walking distance to Galata tower and bridge. Staff is nice and room is comfortable. The building is a bit old but overall was a good experience.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel lobby was beautiful and very modern with a cascading light feature running up the center. Our room itself was on the small side, but very comfortable, clean, and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

Short but comfortable stay

The property is a hidden gem, the staff were very helpful and tried their best to accommodate all our needs. Would stay again!

If you are visiting Istanbul for the first time, this is the best location. The hotel is super nice (rooms are small, yet modern and clean). The breakfast was not It included and it was a bit over priced but the food quality was great (many places near by to eat, yet restaurant for breakfast open around 9 am everywhere) There was a lot music noise from Karakoy 52 till 2 am, but I didn't mind. I actually went there to check it out. The staff was accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this location.

The hotel has a spa like ambiance. The interior design and artwork are interesting and unique. The manager was very helpful and friendly. I found the hotel by last minute, as my stay in Airbnb didn't work out. It's near the galataport and convenient to get transportation. Only thing is there are some pickpocketers near the hotel area, so be careful. The hotel itself was amazing and made our stay even better.

Great location for walking! Great staff, very clean , excellent food and service. Very helpful with any questions about recommendations. The rooms were smaller than expected but was fine because you are out and about all day plus they are organized properly. would stay here again!

A recommendation from a Turkish friend. Excellent. We were 3 of us and took rooms with the connecting door open. Room number 201 and 219. One room was a suite and the other a regular room. Overall we had 2 bedrooms, one living room and most importantly 2.5 washrooms. Location: almost perfect, if not perfect. Walking distance from great restaurants- Gumruk, Mukelleif, Lokantasi. Walking distance from the Grand Bazar, Galata Tower and Fort. Easy to get cabs. Service: outstanding. Special call out to Diyar. Didn’t eat anything at the hotel as we had so many choices near by. The hotel and the rooms are very tastefully done especially the washrooms. Would we go back- hell yes.

The hotel is beautiful; the room is clean and comfortable, the service persons are polite and helpful, and the location is super convenient. I would say this is a perfect hotel, but the noise from the metro that runs so frequently is intolerable, especially when you try to get some sleep at night.

Room was super clean and comfortable, front desk staff was super helpful, and bites from the rooftop restaurant were tasty. Hotel is located within walking distance to the old town, as well as tons of great shopping in the Beyoğlu area. Very pleased with our stay here, and would definitely recommend for a stay in Istanbul.

Nice hotel but over rated a bit, the interior are nice but the standards rooms are a bit small however Deluxe is a nice room. The hotel is nearby Galata port and lots of the attractions in Karakoy and the tram station is just a couple of minutes walk

Perfect location for my needs; both restaurants for breakfast and dinner were great, as was my room.

with the situation and the change of dates we had, the hotel was very kind, was hard to get in touch with someone due to the time zones, but they help us just amazingly. but EXPEDIA WAS TERRIBLE WITH THE HELP, SAYING THEY NEVER HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE HOTEL. I didn't at the fist time I call.. the hotel 10/10

Luxurious artistic decor and super helpful staff in a historic but very modern, well located smaller building. And, it has to be said, a fantastic breakfast buffet and a great restaurant on the top floor. All in all, a great find!

When we checked in the rooms, there was a strange odour everywhere in the room. We had to ask at the reception so send someone with air fresher which they did promptly. But considering that this was marked as a 5-star hotel, we did not have the feeling of staying in a 5-star hotel and it was more of a 3-star hotel. One of the missing things in the room as it did not have a vanity mirror due to which my wife had to juggle between the bathroom mirror and at times use her pocket mirror for her make-up. I think when someone is coming on a holiday in the room there should be at least a full-sized mirror so that the guest can get ready in front of it.

The suite was very noisy and you could hear (and feel) the tram every 20 mins. Had to downgrade my room and they promised to refund me but they did not.

Nice rooms, but bad lighting

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I did not want to mark down, but fellow female travelers be warned - this room is clearly designed for functionality for a male guest. There is very little counter space for toiletries, and the lighting in the bathroom is incredibly poor. A suggestion to the management, change the LED lighting of your beautiful chandelier display in the lobby to warm tone light. The harshness of the white daylight tone doesn’t work, and makes the lovely reception significantly less inviting than it should be. The staff was very polite and professional.

Someone kept coming in the room and I had to yell for them to get out 4 times . The AC isn’t controlled by the room it’s controlled by someone else in a computer which was very annoying. Some of the staff was friendly the others were confused and didn’t understand. There’s no amenities except a gym. It’s walkable and in a convenient location to the tram. It was clean and the food was good. But I still wouldn’t stay here again.

The service was world-class. The hotel is beautiful and very modern. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, but not exceptional.

10 Karakoy is a very ordinary hotel with little character. Rooms are long, with small windows, it’s always dark, you need to have electric lights on even on a bright sunny day. It’s very comfortable, but it’s hot no character, there are better hotels in Istanbul for less, breakfast at a rip-off 250 TL pp is bad.

From the moment I arrived, the Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived earlier than my checkin time and was given a temporary room, which at 5:30am is something I appreciated. Travelling solo, I felt safe in the property. My eventual room was amazing. All the staff were extremely friendly and willing to help and give better options for ways of traveling and places to visit. Location was great with the tram station just outside and pretty much walking distance from all the main sites. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my visit back to Istanbul. Thank you to the 10 Karakoy staff who made me feel safe, welcome and like I was at home.
